WHAT IS CHILD10

Child10´s mission is a world free from child trafficking and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation of children.

Our work is based on a holistic child rights approach including prevention, victim support, legal action against perpetrators, minimizing demand and national and international coordination and collaboration. We advocate for durable and efficient solutions on local, national, regional, and international level that puts the best interests of the child at the forefront of every measure that should be taken.

We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, and work both nationally and internationally. In the autumn of 2021 we opened up our first international office in Vienna.

The work in Sweden is focused on advocacy as well as strengthening the eco system between grassroots organizations active in the field. Internationally, we work closely with key policy makers to influence the various actions taken in this field. Our international program is designed to build the ecosystem of CSOs in the field by providing a platform for enhanced coordination and collaboration in the field. We do this by working together with our Child10 Awarded Member Organizations, selected for their impactful work across Europe in this field, on joint initiatives and advocacy to amplify our impact as a strong Action Group dedicated to protecting children from trafficking and exploitation.

The name ”Child10” originates from our core assignment to each year select and strengthen 10 new Awarded Members working to prevent trafficking and other forms of CSE. Selecting organizations and enhancing their collaboration is rooted in our belief that it’s only through collaboration within the field, across sectors, countries and agendas that we will succeed in stopping child trafficking and other forms of sexual exploitation of children.
