Digitalization has made the internet the primary arena for child sexual exploitation, and artificial intelligence is now fundamentally changing the landscape. AI is being used both to create abuse material and to protect children.

ChildX Award 2026 recognizes initiatives that use AI to prevent, detect, and stop child sexual exploitation – or to support those who have been affected. The award is presented to organizations that combine innovation, a child rights perspective, scalability, and ethical responsibility.

We are seeking groundbreaking projects from non-profit organizations, research initiatives, technology companies, and government agencies that demonstrate how AI can be part of the solution.
