We drive systemic change by influencing policy, legislation, norms and professional practices &#8211; always with the best interests of the child at heart and in close collaboration with survivors. <\/p>\n<p>We are now looking for a key person to join our team.<\/p>\n<h3>You are responsible for:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing and driving our policy strategy and monitoring relevant policy processes.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and collaborate with others in both the organization and the field as a whole.<\/li>\n<li>Writing opinion pieces, consultation responses and briefs for meetings with decision-makers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, build and nurture relationships with politicians, authorities, key stakeholders and the media.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that our advocacy work is strategic, accurate and in line with our values.<\/li>\n<li>Have overall responsibility for our press work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>We are looking for people who have:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid experience in political advocacy, preferably from civil society, public sector or party politics.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in Swedish and English.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to move between the strategic and the operational.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of social policy, social law and understanding of municipal and regional governance of welfare systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify policy windows of opportunity and trends, both nationally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>A passionate commitment to children&#8217;s rights and to combating sexual violence.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze and interpret data and use the insights to identify trends, formulate messages, and develop relevant strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in press work and media contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Good stress management<\/li>\n<li>Used to managing and acting on quick decisions<\/li>\n<li>Used to working in a dynamic work environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Meritorious:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working on issues related to violence, sexual exploitation, child rights or human rights.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in proactively planning and managing media contacts, press releases and interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in speaking in the media or representing an organization in public.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the role of research and how civil society can interact with researchers and research institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>We offer:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>An opportunity to make a concrete difference to children&#8217;s safety and future.<\/li>\n<li>A creative and driven work environment with a big heart and high level of ambition.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible ways of working and a team that is forward-thinking, collaborative and professional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About the service<\/h3>\n<p>The position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension and is located at our office at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.
