ChildX has taken over the material “Okay with you?” – to strengthen children’s understanding of consent already at preschool age.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At ChildX, we know that children’s right to safety starts early. That’s why we have taken over responsibility for Okej med dig<\/em>, a book and educational resource that teaches children about bodily integrity and consent from preschool age. <\/p>\n

Early conversations make a difference. <\/strong>Children need language and tools to express their own boundaries – and listen to others. Okay with You?<\/em> is designed to do just that. The book helps children to not only say “Stop my body!” but also to ask: “Are you okay?”. Through playful stories, reflection questions and educational materials, we give adults the tools to talk about privacy and consent in a natural way in everyday life.<\/p>\n

To protect children from sexual exploitation, we must start early. Consent should never be negotiable! <\/strong><\/p>\n

The initiative Okay with you?<\/em> was developed by the equality foundation Make Equal, 2021 with the support of the Swedish Gender Equality Agency. The book has since been distributed to thousands of preschools and homes.
