We celebrated the Childx Award recipient Spine with a ceremony in the Hague
On the 17th of December, the Embassy of Sweden in The Hague hosted the Dutch award ceremony for the organization Spine, which received the ChildX Award 2024.
The event was attended by key actors in Swedish and Dutch civil society – including the recipient of the ChildX 2021 Award – Footprint to Freedom, representatives from the Dutch Police and directors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice.
As sexual exploitation increasingly shifts to the digital realm, it is crucial to actively seek out vulnerable individuals online. This is precisely what Spine excels at – and we hope their groundbreaking methods can spread beyond the Netherlands.
It was inspiring to see so many dedicated professionals from different sectors all united by a shared mission – to discuss solutions for how we can end child trafficking for sexual exploitation.
